Our Story

What started as two women trading ideas over coffee and whiskey about how to help the people around us eventually became something bigger. After years in higher education and hands-on work with small businesses and non-profits, we noticed a pattern: smart, talented entrepreneurs are doing real, meaningful work, but doing it without support or partnership. At some point we realized the traditional path wasn’t built for how our brains function, so we created our own.

Sandbox became the space we wish we had: a place for thinkers, builders, and creatives. It’s practical where it needs to be, creative where it matters, and collaborative all the way through. We bring strategic planning, brand development, and operational support to the people building from the ground up...not just those with big budgets or investors behind them.

Because small businesses and non-profits deserve more than survival. They deserve to thrive.
